July was the time to have the annual picnic lunch with the Keep Fit Group, in Jean Noble's garden. A walk along the old railway line, a visit to Sandsfoot Castle and (for some) a paddle in the sea gave an appetite for lunch.

Traditionally the ramblers have a picnic in August. This year  at Tyneham the rain descended with a vengeance. A small group braved the weather and explored the deserted village. The picnic was abandoned and lunch was greatly enjoyed at the Ship Inn at Wool

 The Ramble to the RSPB Reserve at Arne afforded walks through woodlands, gorse covered hills and a stroll along the beach

The Ramblers have had some good walks during 2015.

A very busy  Monthly Café with lots of delicious home made cakes, bric-a-brac galore and good company.

Ann May, President of Wyke Regis W.I. put forward the suggestion that to celebrate the centenary it would be good to have a floral display in Greenhill Gardens. The photograph shows the design ably constructed by the Parks Department.

To complete the refurbishment of the courtyard garden volunteers removed a LOT of gravel from the road outside the hall to the garden. Hard work but well worth the effort!
