WELCOME to the wyke regis wi home page
Sadly, WI meetings remain cancelled.
Measures are now in place making the hall COVID-19 Secure and plans were being made for groups of 6 or less to use the hall by first getting the agreement of the committee.
BUT with lockdown arriving again from 5 November to 2 December, even those meetings will now have to be put on hold.
If you're not clear about what you should and should not be doing, check out the NHS and Government websites for full details.
The Institute has been part of Wyke Regis for the last 95 years and has almost 100 members.Owning their own, well-appointed hall in Gallwey Road,
members can enjoy a wide variety of activities which include keep fit, table
tennis, dancing and craft. Monthly Scrabble and Quiz afternoons, Whist evenings and rambles (with a ‘pub’ lunch) are enjoyed; a book club, a poetry group, a ukulele group and a choir flourish, so it is evident that there is something for everyone. Meetings, with interesting speakers, are held on the second Thursday in the month at 7 pm.
